For solo contractors and tradespeople

Websites for pros who went solo.

For plumbers, electricians, roofers, and every trade. Build the page yourself, or have us build it.

Not another website builder.

Solobilt is for independent contractors, not a blank Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy theme. Licenses and insurance, service area, job photos, quote requests, and Thumbtack, Angi, and Houzz reviews sit where a homeowner looks first.

04 — How it works

Onboard once. Keep the site as current as the last job.

  1. 01

    Pick a door

Never had a site, or sitting on a stale Wix page? Start fresh or paste the old URL. We pull the public title, description, and contact we can see.

  2. 02

    Talk like a contractor

Trade, service area, license, insurance, years on the job. Checklist services plus anything you actually sell. Paste a profile link if you already have one.

  3. 03

    Publish, then keep it honest

Solobilt generates the public page. Swap photos and copy from the dashboard whenever a job wraps. Homeowners see the change immediately.

Questions contractors actually ask

01
Is this another website builder?
No. Wix, Squarespace, and GoDaddy start from a blank theme. Solobilt starts from the trade: license, insurance, service area, and job photos sit up front.
02
I already have a site. Do I start over?
Use Replace my site. Paste the URL. We scrape public title, description, and contact when the markup is there, then you finish the contractor fields. The old page can come down whenever you are ready.
03
Can I change copy and photos later?
Yes. The dashboard is the point. Edit services, rewrite the bio, replace a logo, upload a before-and-after. The live site at /sites/your-name updates as soon as you save.
04
Why is there a setup fee?
Do it yourself has no setup fee. Basic is $25 a month, or $20 a month billed annually ($240 a year). Pro is $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually ($468 a year). Both include a 14-day free trial. Done-for-you is $129 a month, or $109 a month billed annually ($1,308 a year). The $199 setup on Done-for-you covers our build and is waived on annual.
05
Does Solobilt connect to Thumbtack today?
Paste a Thumbtack, Google, Yelp, Angi, Houzz, Facebook, or Instagram link on the homepage. Solobilt builds a preview from the public page in about 10 seconds, with no account. Ratings and photos show up when that page exposes them, and they’re labeled imported. Claim the draft when you want it on your account.

05 — What the page has to do

Show the work, the jobs, and the crew.

Homeowners hire the person, not the logo. Put your real jobs and your name up front.

  • 01

    Trade-first pages

Plumbing is not landscaping. The copy and services start from the trade.

  • 02

    Proof up front

License, insurance, and years on the job — the three things that calm a homeowner down.

  • 03

    A real service area

Town names, not “we serve the greater metro and beyond.”
